Proteus Europe is searching for a Unified Communication Specialist/Architect for a 6 month based in Germany. Location optional from Munich, Nuremburg, OR Bochum.

Your New role :-

Overall responsibility for the design, architecture, maintenance, management, and monitoring of HARMANs Cisco Unified Communications technologies.

Accountable for Unified Communications service quality and adhering to service level agreements. Works closely with the IT Operations and Infrastructure team, along with external service providers, to provide world class

Unified Communications services to HARMANs globally-distributed workforce.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for governance and oversight of Unified Communications external service providers.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for IT infrastructure architecture, strategy and design for Unified Communications and VoIP

- Works closely under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Global Data Centers and Unified Communications, to develop, plan and justify key initiatives required to support the organization across all Harman locations worldwide.

- Supports key services including all VoIP, Conferencing (audio, web, video), Instant Messaging and Presence, Voicemail and Call Center systems. - Responsible for developing best in class Unified Communications and VoIP systems. Participates in the design, maintenance, management and capacity planning for data center operations.

- Develop and maintain a strategy for Unified Communications system stability, scalability and continuous service improvement.

- Maintain detailed systems documentation and prepare/update management, maintenance and monitoring procedures.

- Weekly, monthly and yearly reporting of all Key Performance Indicators and Metrics related to HARMANs Unified Communications system.

- Monitor and track all IT support escalations related to Unified Communications, to ensure IT support teams and service providers meet or exceed Service Level Agreements.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management

- Schedule and manage Unified Communications system stakeholder service review meetings

- Escalate strategic issues and requests through IT and business leadership

- Engage finance and other partnering functions, providing information to make informed decisions with business leads

- Demonstrate credibility at a leadership level to drive continued confidence in technology services to the business

Essential Skills :-

Desirable Skills :-

- Total IT experience should be at least 8 years

- Hands on experience with Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP including Call Manager, Unity, Meeting Place, Presence, Jabber, UCCX Call Center, Video Conferencing within a large (>10,000 users) environment. Experience with managing large Cisco networks.

- VoIP and Network design and management experience.

- Wintel Server design and management experience.

- IT Project Management experience along with supervisory experience preferably in a multi-site environment. Experience should include vendor negotiation / management and project budget management responsibilities

- ITIL v3 or 2011 Foundations Certification

- Experience with Server virtualization (VMware vSphere or equivalent)

- Worked for a multinational corporation with outsourced IT support model
