Solutions Manager / Engineering Consultant

Salary up to £75,000 - £80,000 based on experience

Southampton, Winchester area

An early stage UK start-up developing innovative technology require an Engineering Consultant to join their multi-disciplinary team utilising IoT architectures and cloud based machine learning.

The role will report to the CTO and be office based however will require travel around the UK and internationally if needed. Experience in the Energy industry is preferred and you will work onsite with external customers in delivering implementations of the company's products.

Core responsibilities will include;

* Plan the preparation, installation, customisation and configuration of the company's products.

* Project delivery of Field Trials, Pilots and Fully Operational Deployments

* Building long-term relationships with a small number of key customers

* Projects Manage the instillations ensuring the overall project is delivered safely to specification, on time and within budget.

* Ensure knowledge transfer and manage any associated staff as needed

* Provide regular reports and monitor the effectiveness of the installed solutions

* Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the Energy Industry and the company's products

* Support the sales function

Required experience;

* Qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering or IT discipline.

* The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering engineering ot IT solutions within the energy industry

* Good understanding of IT, software and hardware

* Technically competent with a hands on approach and able to communicate technical issues to non-specialists

* Strong client facing experience
