Our client is a leading distributor of industrial control and machinery safety products for the manufacturing industry. They are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll deliver a high-quality software and hardware support service to customers throughout the South of England.

Initially, you will complete an in-depth training program to build your understanding of our client’s product range and develop your technical knowledge.

You will provide support to customers via the telephone, online and on-site, ensuring that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.

To be considered, you’ll need:

- Electrical and basic mechanical engineering skills

- Experience in software projects

- At a minimum, an NVQ Level 4 or HNC qualification in electrical and electronic engineering or an automation related discipline

- A full, valid driving licence

Analytical and eager to learn, as a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll have great problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. You’ll also be able to effectively plan and prioritise your workload.
