The continuing growth and innovation in Display technologies and applications continues to demand active development and partnership from this company; this role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated product manager to ensure that they stay firmly at the forefront of the sub-fab technology. The companies long standing partnership with established OEMs remains important to continuing high share in key customers but emerging OEMs and shifting industry priorities and challenges create both opportunities and threats.

Role Activities

1. Proactively propose new product introductions within the portfolio and agree priorities and deliverables for the roadmap with key stakeholders; manage the product life cycle for competitive advantage.

2. Using feedback from the organisation and directly from customers, work closely with NPI colleagues and sector managers to develop successful new products meeting market requirements; hence develop sound business cases and drive profit growth in the Division.

3. Create marketing collateral and training for colleagues to articulate and deliver the value proposition of products to customers in a compelling manner consistent with a solutions based sales strategy; ensure core product data is published. Present the company's products to customers.

4. Manage the marketing mix for the products, work with sector managers to develop and communicate coherent product marketing plans to inform and guide others within the organisation; regularly update roadmaps for planned new products and obsolescence.

5. Lead pricing policy agreement and manage controls to maintain profitability through the lifecycle using: list prices, cost management, discounts, individual order pricing, contribution management, and the management of master data in SAP.

6. Champion the product within the organisation to ensure adequate attention is given to both internal and external opportunities and threats; ensure management understand the impact of choices.

7. Work with colleagues to make sound evaluations of the market, competitors, customers and technologies in support of Sector Managers and Key Account Teams.

8. Develop good working relationships with, consult, and influence, a wide range of stake holders across the organisation, particularly including: account teams, regional applications & product managers, sector managers, technical managers, project managers and operations managers.

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years semiconductor / display industry experience including responsibilities such as Product Management, Project Management, Contract Management

Degree or Equivalent in Engineering

Able to demonstrate good personal organisation, positive use of influencing skills and fluent use of office software. Familiarity with engineering organisation practices, disciplines, systems and software tools an advantage
