Lead Automation Software Tester / Senior Automation Software Tester

An award winning and expanding technology group requires a Lead or Senior Software Tester with a background in Automation Testing to join them.

This is an exciting period of significant growth for the organisation and the Lead/Senior Automation Tester will help with the improvement of the companies Automation capability.

The successful Lead/Senior Software Tester will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

* Experience of coaching and mentoring a software testing department.

* Experience of introducing and mentoring 'best practise'.

* Having an up to date awareness of industry tools and practises and how this may improve the business.

* Helping to shape the appropriate tooling used for the companies various product development processes.

* To assist with the recruitment to the test department.

* Knowledge of the following will be advantageous:

Proven experience of designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

Strong experience with Agile environments.

Awareness of some or expertise in one of Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Webservices/API with REST.

Experience with SQL or MySQL.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate senior automation tester to move their career into more of a lead / subject expert position.

The role is expected to be 25% hands on automation testing with the remainder of the time being allocated to adding expertise through mentoring, training and strategic input.

The company offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000 and benefits include a financial bonus, training allowance and free onsite parking.
