Senior QA Automation Engineer

Rapidly expanding London based IoT platform Technologies company focusing on developing digital health and environmental sensor networks is currently searching for a high level Senior QA Automation Engineer.

The successful candidate will be experienced in writing and updating automated functional tests for JSON Webservices, Android and IOS using frameworks such as Selenium, UIMator, Celery, Appium, Robotium etc.

Key skills:

Familiarity with testing of websites or client/server applications as well as Mobile devices.

Appreciation of commercial software development.

Good understanding of all parts of the SDLC - requirements gathering, development and test

Exposure to Agile methodologies (Particularly Scrum)

Excellent documentation skills and understanding of the defect tracking process.

Test plan/specifications and test processes.

Hands on experience scripting/coding in Ruby, python or JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

Update existing tests in the automation test suite.

Write test planning documentation from requirements specifications.

Review all testing documents and other test-related documentation.

Ensure that quality standards are adhered to during the development of products.

Add new tests and expand the existing automation test suite.

Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional testing.

Run functional and non-functional tests.

Write requirements and create scenarios for performance testing.

Liaise with developers during the Software Development Life Cycle.

Provide estimates for test activities.
