Our Public Sector Client based in London are looking for a Business Analyst to undertake root cause analysis of data quality issues and identify and recommend fixes as they are currently experiencing a number of different data quality issues. The Business Analysts will support the development of a cohesive approach to tackling data quality issues. The successful candidates will be expected to iteratively implement a data quality management model, starting with a proof of concept in an identified area of casework to prove the value, with Beta and Live following.

Key Skills/ Experience

* Have a demonstrable understanding of ISO 8000-1 and its components

* Have demonstrable experience of data elements including profiling, quality rules definition and automation, data quality matching principles and rules

* Demonstrable experience of delivering analytical solutions to solve data quality issues

* Demonstrable experience of root cause analysis and permanent solution implementation

* Demonstrable experience of working closely with different data groups within government departments.

* Demonstrable experience of creating MI reporting and metrics driven business models.

* Demonstrable experience of establishing new governance regimes for business units within government departments.

* Demonstrable experience of the capability to quickly work within a new complex environment.

* BCS or ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis

* Understand the environment for change including internal and external drivers
