Telecoms Support Engineer - Camberley - £55K

Telecoms Support Engineer required to join my client, a niche telecoms house in Camberley. You will be working on a variety of support and pre-sales activities mainly involving customer support of the full product suite working with customers to set up system demonstrations and configure initial installations. This is a key role helping customers to fully utilise the capabilities of the products and realise their goals. You will be working with customers to set up system demonstrations and configure initial installations. You will have practical experience of at least two of the following technical areas - experience can include troubleshooting, configuration, deployment or design in addition to telecommunications core network support experience. Working with HLR’s, MSC’s, EPC’s and IMS systems.

Skills Required:

· Core CS and / or PS

· Debugging interfaces such as:- Gy/Gx/S8/S9/S5/S6a/C/D/Gi etc.)

· Mobile core network signalling (GSM/UMTS - e.g. MAP / TCAP/ DTAP / M3UA / SCCP / SCTP)

· IP networking skills - including any or all of - routing, VPN, IPSec etc.

· Cisco or other router configuration experience

· Scripting skills (bash, Perl or python etc.)

· Good Linux experience - installation / administration / customisation

Desirable Skills:-

· Delivering Training / Preparing Training Material

· Support Desk Experience

· 2nd or 3rd Line support
