Day to Day experience
The main responsibilities for the Third Line Support candidate, who will report to the IT Network Manager, will be to:
*Support the IT Network manager in projects and troubleshooting
*Support and maintain the firm's complex virtualised infrastructure
*Assist in maintaining the security of and development of the firm's telephone system
*Secure, and enhance the security of, existing infrastructure environments
*Support the development of an innovative and scalable infrastructure
*Work individually and part of a team on a variety of security, growth and stability related projects.
*Provide support, and where relevant, mentor team members
*Devise, and where appropriate provide, training of end-users where required
*When required, work with department heads and senior managers to establish business requirements.
*Provide operational support through the Infrastructure team's ticketing system.
*Support the IT Cyber Security Team and DR team
*Assist in the acquisition of ISO27001 certification
Essential Experience
*Strong Business Analysis skills with an ability to investigate and define "as-is" and "to-be" business processes.
*Good problem solving skills with an ability to logically troubleshoot issues.
*Creative, with a can do attitude.
*Ability to work within a team on a variety of projects
*Excellent communicator with an ability to explain technical requirements concisely
*An appreciation of and experience of project management skills including Prince2, Agile and/or ITIL.
*Keen attention to detail
*Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
*Team player
Desirable Experience
*Exposure to Information Security Management Systems such as ISO27001
*Exposure to BigHand, Ricoh, Sage, Citrix and Mobile Device Management
