We're looking for a Senior SAS Developer / Analyst to join a large financial organisation at their site in Dublin. Do you have experience working in an analytics related role and experience in managing complex scheduled batch processes? If so, then you may be the Developer we're looking for.

Dublin Based

£400-£525pd

6 month Initial contract

Immediate starter - can wait four week for the right person.

What will you be doing? As Senior SAS Developer, you will be responsible for implementing models and strategies within a complex SAS environment. You will have the ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise in the areas of SAS tool usage and complex data structures. In addition to this, you will support the wider business in the application and successful use of risk models. Within this role, you will initially be working on a 6 month contract.

What skills should you have?

* Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative analytical or information management related discipline

* Significant experience in an analytics related role

* Experience in SAS/ETL DI Studio, SAS/ Enterprise Miner, SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Information Maps, SAS/Connect on a variety of hardware platforms including Sun Solaris, Linux and Microsoft windows server

* Data management, analytical and reporting skills - extensive database experience on Oracle, DB2, Teradata

Although not an essential requirement of the role, if you have previous experience enabling SAS code or optimising batch flow deployed on SAS Grid using DI Studio and schedulers, then this may benefit your application.
