£35,000- £40,000 + training + progression + pension + 28 days' holiday

Do you have a mechanical engineering background with design knowledge?

Are you looking for an autonomous role where you will play a vital part in the company's growth and development?

This company manufacture special purpose test equipment for use in multiple industries. Looking forward to an exciting period of expansion over the next 5 years' they are now looking for someone to help drive the next stage of their development.

In this diverse role you will organise design and production, provide technical support to sales, liaise with workshop for production and job planning and carry out the installation and commissioning of products. With training on the mechanical, electrical and refrigeration aspects of this role you will develop your skillset and advance your career.

The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background with electrical knowledge, have experience in a design based role and have been in supervisory or team leader position.

This is a great role for a mechanical engineer to join a company that will offer you a lead role which you can grow into and build a team around you.

The Role:

*Organise design and production

*Liasing with customers on a regular basis.

*Provide technical support to sales

*Liaise with workshop for production and job planning

*Installation and commissioning of products

The Person:

* Mechanical engineering background.

* 2D drawing experience.

* Project management skills.

*Ideally have experience managing individuals.
