A market leading organisation based in Bristol are looking for two Java Software Developers to work on greenfield projects that will see you developing highly scalable web-based software solutions using microservices hosted on an AWS platform, using Java, NoSQL, SQL, JavaScript and development practices like Agile and Test Driven Development.
With a user base reaching from your in-house colleagues using their bespoke integrated business solutions and their customers using their ordering platform and on-line, your working life will be versatile and challenging but never boring.

They have fostered a fantastic DevOps culture as well, where Developers get 10% downtime per week to focus on testing new ideas and researching new technologies that could be used by the business.
Following small build-measure-learn cycles for fast feedback, their development teams have a strong focus on quality and velocity - driven by lean software development principles, implemented through agile practices.
Experience wise, they are looking for Software Developers who:
* Have commercial programming experience using Java
* Understand agile/lean software development
* Have basic experience in Javascript and/or other programming languages
* Have basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL as well as SQL:2011
* Have some commercial experience using at least one test automation
* Any experience with the Spring Framework or AWS is a big bonus, but not essential, they will teach you!
The salary for the roles range between £45,000 - £57,000 plus benefits like flexible working hours, working from home 1 day a week, 25 days holiday, 3% pension, holiday purchase scheme, childcare vouchers and a cycle to work scheme.
