This opportunity is with a cutting edge FTSE 100 Tech leading client at a tech hub based in Cheshire. This client has always been at the forefront of financial technology, however they are changing their approach to further mirror tech giants such as google. With customers as the driving focus they have removed the layers between the user and the technology team using Agile methodologies to drive feature teams. As well as embracing the world of open source technologies to ensure they are evolving with the fast pace world of technology. They are in need of new talent to join their team to ensure that they not only keep pace but maintain their position as industry leaders.

They are looking for developers who are live to code, are actively interested in DevOps and passionate about a rewarding user experience. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of projects affecting by both customers and your colleagues. The multi-channel applications are provided across web, mobile, telephony and contact center platforms. The applications you will deliver make use of the latest UI, container and api technologies, deployed onto cloud platforms.

The reasons you are right for this role;

-Experience of end to end software development lifecycle.

-Software development consisting of the following languages and technologies:

-Java including Servlets, JSPs, EJBs and Javascript.

-Good knowledge of JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 and HTTP.

-Single page application development, AngularJS preferred.

-Knowledge of CucumberJS, ExtJS, Jasmine, Backbone, Knockout and Bootstrap.

-J2EE frameworks such as Spring (MVC, Web services) and Hibernate.

-Relational Databases such as Oracle / DB2 / SQLServer.

-Knowledge of waterfall or agile software methodologies.

-Pride in your awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT.

-Knowledge of Testing and Mocking frameworks.
