Systems Engineer

London

6 Months initially

£550 - £650 Per day.

ROLE IS OUTSIDE OF NEW IR35 LEGISLATION

We have a great opportunity with a exciting organisation for a Systems Engineer with a high level clearance.

As a Systems Engineer you will be a key participant in the design and delivery of a strategic programme within a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in leading edge programme where technology plays a crucial and increasingly strategic role. You will be part of a large scale engagement where change and evolution of services contribute to this fascinating, and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

*Growing and managing the system knowledge base, through the development of data models, standards and the design and implementation of processes and tools that drive coherent, consistent and value-adding use of the architectures.

*understand & interpret business or technical requirements and translate these into defined system models.

*produce system designs from concept through to high level design.

*have knowledge of IP systems, telecoms systems, protocols, communications data traffic volumes and data rates.

*have understanding of what communications data a CSP may have access to in their systems.

*be able to develop a common understanding of the system needs through relevant stakeholder engagement.

*carry out information / data modelling and analysis and ensure that system models support the business analysis or are technically fit for purpose.

*promote the use and adoption of the system architecture strategies and standards across a broad stakeholder group.

*Understand workflow approaches, tools and methods; including policy and legislation aspects in addition to tradecraft.

*Have an understanding of recently passed IPA and other relevant legislation.
