A Top Tier Investment Bank is seeking an enthusiastic and cooperative Algorithmic Trading Application Support VP to work within their Front Office Equities Algorithmic Trading team in London.

This position will require good UNIX skills (to Scripting level), and a high level of understanding of Trade Flow, Client Flow and real-time monitoring.

Day to day this role will support the trading engines and you will be responsible for co-operating and collaborating with external and internal clients via FIX and providing technical solutions for a non-technical audience.

You must have a very supportive and understanding work attitude with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be liaising directly with the Trade Floor and stakeholders of all levels.

You must have the following skills in order to be considered for the Algorithmic Trading Application Support VP position:

UNIX/Linux

Perl/Python etc. Scripting

FIX Protocol experience

Front-Office Trading exposure

SQL/Sybase database
