Fantastic Opportunity for an experience Infrastructure Engineer to working for a leading software provider in Glasgow. They have a growing client basis and are very customer driven.

You will work closely with the whole IT department making sure work is transparent and meets customer requirements. You will assist in the delivery of both hardware and software and be involved in the implementation, support and maintenance of the solutions provided.

The ideal candidate with be self-motivated, driven and have excellent technical ability. They will Demonstrates effective communication, both orally and in writing with all stakeholders.

You will have excellent experience managing on prem and cloud storage and you will also posses a good working knowledge of Linux.

Desired technical skills;

* Windows Server 2008 / 2012 R2

* Virtualisation (Microsoft Hyper-V 2012)

* Networking (switching / routing, VLAN's, IP, TCP/IP, NAT, VPN's etc)

* Firewall maintenance and configuration (CISCO ASA, Checkpoint)

* Active Directory Administration

* DHCP, DNS

* Broad SQL database knowledge

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work independently

* CISCO Nexus switch 7000 series maintenance and configuration
