Location: Vienna, Austria

Scope of work: 3 - 4 Days a Week / (70 - 80 Person Days)

TASKS

- Assess cloud service provider solutions that meet the needs of Analytics & Business Architecture

- Design & plan of distributed computing infrastructure for Analytics based on Open Source technology like Hadoop with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, etc.)

- Support in definition of technical requirements for a Analytics platform

- Design and architect cloud & application solutions independent of vendors

- Match cloud solution options to business requirements

- Perform GAP analysis and vendor service evaluations

- Support in implementation of a generic framework for application of analytical methods and techniques

- Support in the definition of a target architecture for mobile-app analytics based on a common middleware platform

- Intensive training of big data tools and analytical methods for internal employees

SKILLS

- 3+ years experience with Design, Build and Run of Big Data Analytics Platforms or Data Science technology

- Excellent knowledge in setup & experience in configuring and operations of Apache Hadoop Ecosystem (e.g. Cloudera or Horton Works)

- Excellent knowledge and experiences in Hadoop Real-time Technologies

- Excellent knowledge and experiences in complex Data Structures

- Proven hands-on experience with Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, ...)

- Excellent knowhow & experiences in relational DBs (MS SQL-Server, Oracle) and NOSQL-DBs (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB)

- Knowledge of analytical tools (Spark, Kafka, Phyton, R, Elastic Search)

- Application of analytical methods: Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, Classification Problems, Neural Networks

- Know How in Visualisation and BI Tools (e.g QLik or Tableau)

- Fluent knowledge of English; German is appreciated, but not mandatory

Following skills are an additional asset:

- Oracle, IBM Datastage, Teradata

- banking business know how

- knowledge in requirements engineering
