SC Cleared Lead Business Analyst

The client is looking to replace its internal Logistics systems and improve the business processes.They are in the initiation stages of a project to utilise one or most likely a number of systems to provide the overall logistics capability

Lead Business Analyst - Will work on IT enabled business change and is expected to perform:

Requirements Gathering:

*Work with the business and 3rd Party suppliers as necessary to ensure the requirements are correctly analysed, catalogued and compliantly delivered. Assure detailed functional and technical specifications to ensure that business requirements have been effectively translated. Assure the suitability of the IT provided solutions in meeting the business requirements

*Support the Business as necessary for the derivation of options and supporting recommendations for process and IT change to meet the business requirements

Business Change and Readiness

*Support the customer, throughout the project lifecycle, to effectively plan for the changes which are to be implemented;

*Produce effective Business Readiness Plans highlighting IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities), user guidance and any wider business change activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment and to successfully deliver the overall change package

*Collaborate in the development of test scripts, test plan, test script management and business acceptance.

*Work with and support the business in the development and implementation of SOPs.

*Devise strategies to facilitate better integration of identified tools where possible devise and collaborate with the development of transition plans from current state of Supply Chain across the business to desired future states to meet changing business environment and/or client needs.

Essential Skills / Experience:

*Working knowledge and experience of the full project delivery lifecycle

*Have held a lead business analyst role in the delivery of a complex Business system IT project

*The capture, agreement and ownership of business requirements from project inception, through selection of a 3rd party supplier/partner, business case creation and implementation of a core business system

*Experience of delivering Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) system based projects

*Has worked closely with and managed a 3rd Party supplier in ensuring business requirements are met

*Business Process Analysis and Modeling

*Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders

*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

*Skilled and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and Visio

*Attention to detail and tenacity

*Works well under pressure

Desirable Skills / Experience:

*Knowledge of the Logistics environment, including supply chain and warehouse management

*Has knowledge and experience of delivering Cloud based systems

*Knowledge of the logistics environment including Warehouse Management, Delivery Management and Logistics Planning

*Has written, planned, performed and managed the user acceptance testing process

*Experience in designing and implementing system integration and testing

*Capability to create workable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
