Senior Systems Support Analyst - Somerset - up to £45,000 - Permanent

Senior Systems Support Analyst is required by this global company in based Somerset. You'll be a key member of the System Support Team responsible for the day to day maintenance of networked systems from 2nd to 3rd line support.

Responsibilities include:

- Technical support of Microsoft Windows systems

- Maintaining virtual systems, mainly VMware, Horizon

- Complete commitment to satisfying the security and uptime requirements of all systems with rapid restoration of services after down-time

- Dedication and flexibility over working arrangements to support existing systems and meeting business led project deadlines

Technical skills:

- Hands on experience with server hardware, ideally HP blade systems

- Excellent understanding of networking concepts / protocols with experience of configuring devices in live environments

- Understanding of wireless technologies with the ability to configure and fault find

- Excellent diagnostic and fault finding skills

Implementation, configuration, management and support skills in some of the following would be desirable:

- VMware Horizon

- Microsoft Windows Server

- Microsoft Office 365

- Mobile hardware (Zebra / Scanners)

- Xerox Workgroup printers

- Microsoft systems (including Exchange, SQL, SCCM)

- Cisco/HP Network Switches, Routers and Wireless LAN

- HP 3PAR SAN storage

- Time and Attendance systems

- CCTV systems

- Mitel Telephony systems (including DECT Phones)

-Barracuda/Cisco Antivirus solutions
