Trainee IT Technician

Excellent opportunity on offer for an IT Technician looking to join an expanding, market leading company that will offer you extensive training and personal development, to become a fully competent IT Support Technician.

In this role you will undertake an extensive training program to ensure you are up to speed with all the equipment they manufacture. Once you have completed your training you will work alongside the Technical Solutions Manager in providing help desk support to engineers and customers as well as have the opportunity to carry out testing in house and also once a week travel to customers sites to install or update software which could be anywhere in the UK.

The Role:

* Trainee IT Technician

* Provide technical assistance for software/driver related issues via telephone / email & remote support tools

* Liaise with technicians to identify & resolve driver / software related issues

* Identify and report technical problems

* Perform software installations

* Full training, with the opportunity to develop your skills.

The Person:

* Someone with a passion for IT

* Ideally have experience of help desk support however training can be given

* Must be ambitious and have an appetite to learn.

* Must have excellent communication skills.

* Must have a qualification in ICT / IT

* Must have a full clean driver's license
