Application Support (Financial and Accountancy software)

A leading IT solutions provider with a wide range of Financial and Accountancy type Applications is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their support team.

With an ever growing base of clients that total over 25,000 end user globally this is an exciting and challenging role.

This Application Support role would suit someone with an accountancy background who is looking to make to move into a support role.

Full training will be given on how to support the software application if you come from an accountancy or finance background.

The role

* Take ownership of calls from the initial call to resolution.

* Log in remotely to resolve onsite issues.

* Document and escalate software issues to relevant departments.

* Provide regular client updates throughout any issues.

Skills

* Proven experience with Software Application Support

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent Time Management Skills

It would be a distinct advantage if you have any of the following:

* Experience with Financial or Accountancy Software

* Understanding of UNIX or Windows operating Platforms

* HTML

* ITIL

* Accountancy Qualification

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing support team within a successful and well respected company.

They are offering a salary of £23,000 -£26,000 depending on experience and offer excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, increasing with service, group pension scheme, Life Assurance, Health Assurance, Private Health and onsite gym
