Middleware Developer

An Investment Bank urgently require a Middleware Developer to join their International Enterprise Messaging team for an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend.

The successful Middleware Developer will be responsible for delivering transformation projects within an Opensource Enterprise Integration Platform, which supports business streams from the front to back office. This will involve the renewal of back end applications deployed in production systems and integrating these with new application platforms.

In addition, the successful candidate will be required to be involved in the full project lifecycle from technical proposal to analysis, design, implementation and subsequent rollout and day-to-day maintenance.

Key Skills:

- Java and JEE experience

- JBoss, Spring & Hibernate experience

- Relational Database skills: Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL

- Experience in using TDD/BDD Agile methodology

- Software development lifecylce experience incl end to end testing

- Experience working within a Unix/Linux environment
