Currently partnered with a Leading Investment Bank in London who are looking to hire an interim Project Manager with previous experience of CCAR or Stress Testing for their Risk & Analytics team.

The Risk and Analytics function (R&A) is a cross-asset global technology group within the Investment Bank. Objective is to consolidate, streamline and simplify the generation, analysis and visualisation of Risk within the Investment Bank onto strategic, cross-asset platforms. The migration from a legacy, siloed, asset class specific environment to a shared, cross-asset, platform is a complex one and we're running that work as a multi-year programme.

The Programme team play a vital role in tying together the technical capabilities of the group with the business change required to achieve our strategic goals and regulatory obligations. Project managers report to the R&A Head of Change or Direct Level reports, and have a strong dotted line to the delivery lead associated with their given programme of work.

Overall purpose of role:

* Delivery of projects in the IB IT and Data Strategy - typically these focus on the move of functionality and process from legacy asset-class specific systems to the new strategic architecture, or compliance with major regulatory streams.

* This specific vacancy is initially for the Project Manager on the CCAR Global Programme for R&A and will focus other work streams as required.

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

* Support and coordinate system implementations or process change through the project lifecycle using Agile methodologies, working with other teams on a local and global basis.

* Clearly articulate the strategy/vision, and translate that into a holistic delivery plan, driving the execution of that plan to completion. In an Agile framework, this should translate into tangible goals and near term planned deliveries.

* Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and reporting requirements

Stakeholder management and leadership. Decision making and problem solving.

* Significant interaction with Director level stakeholders - Development leads within R&A and in external teams, Key business representatives. Typically lead working groups, and support the Technology Lead for a programme of work in preparation of Steerco material.

* The expectation is that most stakeholder engagement can be conducted with a high degree of autonomy.

* Work with organisation and key senior stakeholders to scope and staff projects, establish governance, and define target solutions

* Demonstrate sufficient hands-on knowledge in the subject space to be able to actively engage in and influence problem resolution.

Essential Experience

* Evidence of large scale technical project delivery in an Investment Banking environment for which the candidate had sole or the majority of responsibility

* Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic global environment that demands multi-tasking.

* Strong written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

* Numerate degree

* Experience with development using agile methodologies

* End to end lifecycle experience of development and implementation projects

* Experience working in a global environment

* Ability to create and review technical documentation, specifications and architecture
