SC SAP Data Migation Lead (ECC/Finance)

SC Cleared SAP (ECC/Finance) Data Migration Lead contract with a major organisation in Derby (SAP system consolidation).

Purpose of the role:

- Leads and delivers and Data Migration design for Data Migration Work stream

- Has knowledge of the SAP ECC solution and can converts the business scope into technical solutions.

- The DM lead consultant has ownership of the technical area deliverables and day-to-day management of technical area. They must be able to work with the project manager to develop and manage scope, resources schedule, and feed into the business case of project - bottom up.

- The DM lead consultant is responsible to analyse the functional requirements, develop the data migration technical design; Realize/Check the technical design; Test and document the technical design.

- They will implement or guide the best shore teams in implementing the technical solutions.

- They may be requested to conduct workshops and presentations to validate technical design with the project team / Super user community.

The primary responsibilities include:

- Interaction with senior client stakeholder

- Leads SAP solution delivery in a functional/ technical area

- Develops, delivers and documents the technical solution

- Delivers the solution in line within the planned cost

- Complies with governance process

- Works with clients and functional leads when required e.g. to deliver workshops

Skills required to fulfil the role:

- Has broad experience in the ECC logistics and Finance modules of SAP

- Has worked on SAP Data Migration projects in the past, preferably in a lead role.

- Must speak and write fluent English and have demonstrated experience writing Functional Specs

- Experience following the ASAP methodology

- ABAP and LSMW development experience

- Ability to work in and get the best out of best shore teams

- Able to work both in a team leadership and in a hands on data migration development / execution / testing capacity

- Ability to maintain a big picture view of the project vision and goals while performing detail analysis and configuration tasks

- Ability to multi-task and strong time management skills.
