My client have multiple projects coming up and are looking for a Windows Server specialist to add more bandwidth to the team.

The Windows Server Specialist will provide on site support for the European Windows Infrastructure and remote support for Windows Hosting Services across all business lines and regions within Europe.

The specialist will provide immediate response in the dynamic ever evolving environment. They will be working with App/Dev team to resolve Application issues related to the Windows OS running on Core Infrastructure.

Provide Windows Server Operating System support and Intel hardware support running on various Intel hardware providers Incl. Lenovo and Cisco UCS. The support function is across all lines of business and geographic regions in Europe.

Coordinates and provides technical guidance and architecture design for development projects pertaining to Windows Server Infrastructure, Recommends technology solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients and for GTI.

Key attributes required:

- Install, configure and maintain Windows servers on running 2012 and 2016 Operating systems

- Experienced in Automation techniques/tools such as Windows Powershell scripting, Puppet Automation, DevOps and Agile working methodologies.

- Scan and Remediate all Windows TSS non-compliant issues.

- Diagnostics and trouble-shooting of X86 hardware and software issues.

- Basic experience and knowledge of working with VMware and/or Hyper-V Virtualisation environments

- Experience and knowledge of working with Citrix XenApp environments

- Knowledge of Cloud, IaaS and PaaS environments
