Technical Project Manager-Supporting Scrum Teams, Meetings, Procurement- 6 months - £300-400 per day (outside IR35)-Glasgow

The Company:

Spring Technology's Public Sector Client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team on a challenging Transformation Delivery Programme that will significantly change how they provide services to their customers.

The Role:

Candidates must have excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills. They must be adaptable and self-motivated; they must also have the ability to thrive within a deadline-driven environment.

This is a "hands on" position and the successful candidate will be expected to work as a fully participating team member across a range of areas that may arise during the period of project.

Responsibilities include:

*The successful delivery of procurement activities required to support the Programme

*Scheduling Procurement Activities/Meetings/Evaluations

*Leading Pre-Market Engagement Meetings with Suppliers ensuring that technical and commercial needs of the programme are met.

*Support Scrum Teams to define requirements taking into account technical and user needs

*Work with Procurement to ensure compliance to SG Procurement processes

*Providing the technical link between the Procurement function and the wider Programme team

*Deputising for the Procurement Delivery Manager as and when required

*Editing and collating the Scrum Team Members artefacts in to Procurement Schedules, supporting the Procurement Delivery Manager in the development and (if required) delivery of the technical and business contingency required to support the Transformation Programme

Essential Experience:

*Experience of working on technology projects

*Excellent writing, oral communication, presentation, and organisation skills

*An inquisitive nature, with the ability to ask subject-matter experts the right questions

*A proven ability to work independently to tight deadlines

*Ability to write clear, concise documentation for a variety of audiences

*An advanced user of Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, SharePoint

*Versatile and dynamic character willing to identify tasks required to ensure delivery and run with them

*Ability to work under changing priorities

*Experience of Supplier Management

Desirable Experience:

*Experience of interfacing between Delivery Teams and Procurement/Suppliers

*Agile experience Scrum / Kanban

*Experience of utilising Atlassian Tools - JIRA & Confluence

*Previous Procurement experience

*Project Certification - PRINCE2
