Tremendous opportunity for a Database Service & Reporting Manager to join growing organisation, as their Database Service & Operational Lead. This is not a Technical IT job responsible for the capture, storage & analysis of all data submitted. Now is an exciting time to join them in this newly created role.

This job will suit a Database Service & Reporting Manager with significant commercial experience in a non technical Data/Database focused role. Previous exp working with Sensitive Data & Information Security - highly desirable. You have full ownership here and be the "go to" person for all things data. You will manage day to day activities & set initiatives to drive continuous improvement; creating an active community of users, producing documentation & guidance.

You will be able to clearly communicate information, in a succinct & persuasive way. This is a fast paced environment, responsibilities include;

* Programme co-ordination and reporting for all Data/Database related activities

* Lead the management of the operational service & development of the Database including: liaising with internal/external stakeholders, monitoring/reporting system issues, overseeing monthly system updates & user acceptance testing, assisting with training, ensure security is maintained, presenting to stakeholders internal & industry informing on system activities, seeking feedback/user insight, project managing system development/improvements, procurement & DB related contracts,.

* Co-ordinate and support Reporting & User Guidance: increase awareness and expand the user community, ensure feedback is fed into improvements

* Collate/share-internal reviews of reporting, data quality and database issues and improvements.

The Database Service Manager will have;

* Strong project management skills, excellent communication & Strong Stakeholder management - all levels technical/Non

* Managing cross-functional teams

* Strong technical understanding, IT, Data/Database, Information Management, Data Security policies/procedures.

* Any of the following desirable: handling sensitive data (commercial, government, intelligence or military), user training, developing guidance on data collection.
