Senior Data Analyst

Our client is leading a new generation of energy providers with a fresh outlook and a unique way of doing business. They believe in creating a brighter future, fighting the good fight and doing right by their customers.

The company have been featured in Wired magazine for developing software that shatters the status quo. Now, they’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to tackle complex data quality and integration problems and develop tactical data solutions.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

- Create new and innovative data solutions that solve complex stakeholder challenges

- Develop automated solutions that require little to no manual intervention to maintain

- Take ownership of complex data projects from end-to-end, including processing and transforming data, performing data analysis and presenting key outputs to stakeholders

- Build consolidated datasets

- Complete your own documentation so that others can pick up, resume and evolve upon your work

- Develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and advise on the appropriate use of data

Interested? To join this passionate team, you’ll need:

- At least three years’ experience in a data, analytical or engineering role

- Programming experience in Python, R or similar

- Demonstrable experience of building complex data pipelines

- Experience of core BI technologies and excellent SQL skills

- The ability to effectively document your work so others can utilise it

- To be commercially aware with a good understanding of the role of different departments and how they operate within the business

- A strong desire to master new and emerging technologies

A degree level qualification in a numerical, scientific or engineering discipline would be beneficial, as would an understanding of the UK energy market. Experience of the following would also be an advantage: data visualisation, cloud data services, Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure.
