DEVOPS ENGINEER (DOCKER): DOCKER, JENKINS, LINUX, NAGIOS, GIT

The work location is in WEST LONDON and is a 6 month contract paying 500-530 Per Day.

Must Have Essential Key skills & Background

* 2 years of DevOps experience in a large organisation.

* Demonstrable experience in working in an Agile environment.

* Demonstrable experience with Docker and familiar with immutable infrastructure concepts.

* Working knowledge of deployment frameworks such as Jenkins, monitoring frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, Icinga or Nagios and code repositories such as Git.

* Comfortable working with Linux operating systems (e.g. CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu). Have an understanding, inter-process communication, devices and device drivers, file system concepts, permissions, inodes, symlinks, clustering, logical partitions, and clustering.

* Demonstrable experience managing load balancers. SteelApp preferred.

* Experience with MongoDB, ActiveMQ, MySQL/Galera highly desirable.

* Good skills in programming languages such as bash, python or Go.

* Demonstrable communications, presentation, and negotiating skills are a must to advocate for DevOps and reliability concepts within a development team.
