Talend Consultant - SQL Server

6 Months initially

Watford / London

£475 - £525 per day

We are looking for 2 x Talend Consultants with solid experience of SQL Server. This is for a great client on an interesting and rewarding programme of work.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of data migration, data quality and profiling, reporting and technical documentation, using Talend as the main toolset.

Key Responsibilities:

*? ? ? ? ?Design and implement efficient, robust and scalable production quality components in Talend.

*? ? ? ? ?Defining mappings and transformations in Talend.

*? ? ? ? ?Defining and building CSV import jobs.

*? ? ? ? ?Reconciling source and target data.

*? ? ? ? ?Producing documentation for testers, technical and business audiences.

*? ? ? ? ?Reference data mapping via lookups.

*? ? ? ? ?Integrating jobs with 3rd party tools, eg Geo-coding, address lookups etc.

Key Skills:

*? ? ? ? ?A methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.

*? ? ? ? ?SQL Server experience - 2016 desirable, 2014 or greater - including T-SQL and stored procedures.

*? ? ? ? ?Experience on data migration projects - 10+ years would be ideal.

*? ? ? ? ?Experience with Talend toolset (licensed preferred, rather than Open Studio) - ideally 3+ years on large migration project.
