My client is a hidden secret in a rapidly emerging market - a leader in the Smart Home / Energy space! They are continuing to progress with innovative ideas and have developed a new product for the "Active Home." They are thereby seeking a Product Manager to join their Cambridge team.
Requirements:
*Relevant degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Electronics.
*Previous product manager experience including product lifecycle and product marketing.
*Excellent understanding of the Smart Energy / Energy market.
*Broad technical knowledge including hard-ware, software and data services.
*Ability to launch a new product into the Smart Energy space - "market making."
Responsibilities:
*Own the new product development; translating the business proposition into technical requirements and ensuring that those requirements are relevant to the Smart-Energy space.
*Become the champion for an unseen product in the Smart Energy Space - representing the company on both technical and commercial levels.
*Take responsibility for the product trials - managing the relationships with clients, as well as technical teams.
*Demonstrate an apt ability to move between technical and commercial teams; ability to translate technical requirements to sales teams and vice versa.
This is open to an innovative Product Manager who can be pro-active in launching a brand new product into the Smart Energy space. You will take full ownership of the product lifecycle; inputting into the technology roadmap and interacting with commercial teams.
