£22,000-£23,000 PA + benefits

Are you a graduate from an engineering background looking for a new long term role with a leading utilities company, with excellent rates of pay and future opportunities?

Due to a heavy workload my client are currently recruiting for a Project Officer to provide administrative and drawing support to the engineering operational and design team.

You must have experience using AutoCAD, be computer literate with Word/Excel/Powerpoint etc, and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

The role will involve producing generic and site specific drawings, coordinating design projects throughout the design department and supporting the design team with day to day activities.

This is on a 1 year fixed term contract basis, but there is the potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

- Undertake specific projects as defined by the line manager

- Produce generic and site specific drawings including stamps and templates

- Undertake reviews of network drawings and design data to ensure the accuracy of company information

- Support design team with day to day activities as and when required

The Candidate:

- AutoCAD experience

- Good communications (written & verbal), numeracy and IT skills are important

- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
