To achieve this the successful candidate need;

*A world class Business Intelligence and Data warehousing function.

*Patching of the Windows Clusters and SQL server instances they host

*Working with Technical and Solutions Architects to design and implement new SQL Server solutions using established design patterns

*Deploying new instances of SQL Server to Windows Clusters, on-premises virtual machines and Azure virtual machines

*SQL Server Backups and Restores

*Support for ETL processes

*Alerting for SQL Server Infrastructure

*Mentoring other DBA's and Application Support Analysts

Skills and experience;

*Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design concepts and practices

*You will have experience of implementing and supporting SQL Server/ Recovery solution

*You will have experience with Extended Events

*You may have experience of supporting SQL server BI platforms (SSRS) and Data Warehouses, or are at least keen to learn more about them

*SQL Server 2000 - 2016

*SQL Server SSIS (Integration Services) - 2008+

*SQL Server SSAS (Analysis Services) - 2008+

* SQL Server SSRS (Reporting Services) - 2008+
