Oracle DBA:
A fantastic Oracle DBA opportunity has been made available within a large Media company. This is a permanent position based in the City of London.
The Role
As an Oracle DBA you will be required to provide 24/7 support to over 90+ Oracle databases. You will work as part of the technology operations team which is a vital function within the technology strategy and operations and information systems delivery. These departments provide strategic, delivery and operational services and expertise across information system's and broadcast. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products while evaluating Oracle features and Oracle related products. As an Oracle DBA you will be responsible for management of a wide range of Oracle environments including 24/7 broadcast, large data warehouses, ERP, UAT and development. Performance tuning and performance monitoring will be a major part of the successful candidates responsibility's.
