Director of Consulting - Utilities

Progressive Recruitment are currently looking for a Director of Consulting to join our client who deliver technology solutions to the utilities sector.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience across project and program delivery, having delivered IT infrastructure, application, transformation and digital projects. You will also have extensive business development experience with the ability to identify and build relationships with target clients in order to generate revenue.

Key Requirements:

* Bachelor Degree in IT or related field

* 10+ years project/program management experience

* 10+ years sales & business development experience

* Including cold calling

* Account management experience

* Extensive consulting experience

* Extensive network within the utilities sector

* Knowledge of utilities sector trends

* Prior experience managing a team of 15+ consultants

* P&L management experience

* Excellent knowledge of project delivery best practices

* Knowledge of agile & waterfall methodologies

* IT Infrastructure, application, transformation & digital project management experience

Highly Desirable:

* PMP certified

* "Big 4" experience

The role is a combination of business development, program delivery and people management so I would advise people that are not experienced or willing to do all three not to apply.
