Manpower Group Solutions are currently working in partnership with the Ford Motor Company UK and assisting them with a number of important hires in their IT & Technical Solutions teams, based in Dunton, Essex.

The Vehicles Sales Management team, which consists of approx. 35 people, is responsible for the full life cycle of IT development activities for the Companies vehicle ordering systems (VISTA) & the successful candidate will perform the role of a Senior Business Analyst within a team that is undergoing a transformation to Agile software development processes

Responsibilities will include:

*Work with the regional business team to understand business priorities and requirements, and act as the voice of the customer to the development team, ensuring the team delivers value to the business.

*Work closely with the Development team to prioritise deliverables in line with the high-level portfolio roadmap and timings.

*Lead / Support the appropriate Agile ceremonies (e.g. Daily Stand-Up, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, Product Management, Agile Release Train Planning).

*Responsible for providing details to the team to help define and test the solution for backlog items. Provides acceptance to user stories.

*Support the Product Management team to build and maintain the Program Backlog through the development and maintenance of prioritised customer-centric product Features and User Stories.

*Work closely with the Development team and Agile Team Facilitator to prioritise iteration content in line with the high-level programme strategy and timings.

*Work with the wider global IT teams to drive alignment across the various projects and work streams.

*Act as Agile advocate / coach to the team and represent them within Agile forums (e.g. Agile CoE).

*Acquire understanding of business context and business requirements for the applications in sufficient depth to support strategic decision-making.

*Support the development team through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

*Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the business usage of the applications.

*Lead and/or support testing on complex functionality for key initiatives that require SME knowledge.

*Flexibility to support working with business customer/IT professionals in different regions/time-zones.

Qualifications and Skills

*Experience of successfully completing an Agile Transformation within an established software development team.

*Excellent understanding of Agile concepts and experience of Agile driven projects.

*Extensive experience as a Business Analyst on a number of large projects.

*Extensive experience in requirements gathering, facilitation and business value analysis in previous Business Analysis roles with a proven ability to understand, interpret, document and communicate complex business requirements.

*Excellent written and oral communication skills.

*Strong interpersonal skills, particularly relating to negotiation, facilitation and conflict management.

*Ability to communicate technical and non-technical subjects with all levels of personnel.

*Ability to build strong working relationships with business customers and stakeholders.

*Strong workload management and task prioritisation.

*Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

*Experience of leading workshops and related activities.

*Ability to learn quickly and understand a wide variety of business and technical subjects.

*Minimum 2:2 University degree

Desirable:

*Familiarity with Rally backlog management tool (or similar).

*Familiarity with SharePoint to maintain team sites and documentation.
