Are you a Senior Stress Engineer from a Lifting equipment, Marine, Large Mechanical Structures background looking for a senior, specialist role where you will be the go to technical engineer across a multi - functional team and you will be responsible for managing major projects and analyse configurations of structures?

On offer is a senior technical role with a multi-million pound turnover business, personal development and progression.

Within this role you are analysing mainly loading arms and all components within them taking into account operating pressures and temperatures, wind loading, earthquake loading, thermal loading and displacements and effects of external attachments.

This company are a specialist, niche business who manufacture capital equipment for the marine industry. They are currently growing and are seeking motivated, talented Engineers.

This role would suit a Senior Stress Engineer from a Lifting equipment background looking for a senior, specialist role where you will be the go to technical engineer across a multi - functional team and you will be responsible for managing major projects and analyse configurations of structures.

THE ROLE

*Carry out hand calculations and/or beam/frame, shell or solid FEA analysis, by using CAD technology for simulation purposes.

*Liaison with design and manufacturing. To recommend design solutions and features by design instructions and sketches/drawings according to calculations and analysis results.

*To prepare feasibility analysis or study and to make a recommendation for a donor structure at the preliminary stage of the project.
