Solutions / Systems Architect / Technical Architect (MS/VMware)

We are currently looking for a number of Technical Solutions Architects / Consultants to join an exciting and rapidly growing software company near Slough. Due to continued success, this global organisation are looking for Technical Solutions Architects / Consultants / Systems Architects to work with a range of large, mainly fortune 500 businesses.

Servicing a rapidly growing and prestigious customer base, designing and deploying enterprise software solutions within virtualised infrastructure environments, you will be involved in the presales and postsales lifecycle, delivering product demonstrations and evaluation proof of concepts to prospective customers, and / or existing customers, and design and deploy such solutions.

The successful Solutions / Systems Architects should have a strong technical background with significant experience of microsoft infrastructure and virtualised environments (citrix and/or vmware), and be able to talk around and explain technical solutions to key stakeholders.

Ideal experience would include:

* Ability to identify customer requirements and design and deploy solutions to large enterprises (Fortune 500, FTSE 100 etc.)

* Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills

* Technical documentation, requirements gathering and analytical reasoning

* Ability to conduct meetings with key stakeholders and liaise with technical and non-technical audiences

Successful candidates could have experience working in various capacities and from different backgrounds, typical experience could be: technical engineer specialising in the design and deployment of systems / software / infrastructure; technical presales engineer; post sales engineer; technical account manager; solutions consultant; implementation engineer.

In addition to the above skills and experience, it would be beneficial if you have an understanding / experience with any or all of the following (not all essential):

* Desktop technologies and End User Cumputing

* Windows Servers and Operating Systems

* Virtualisation, server based computing, desktop virtualisation, EUC.

* SAN/NAS Storage

* LAN/WAN Networks

* Understanding of relational databases, ideally SQL Server / T-SQL

* BI, Analytics, Big Data, Enterprise Software Solutions

* MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCA, VTSP, CCSP - any would be beneficial
