Linux Engineer / DevOps (Linux OOP TCP/IP Python C#). Massively profitable global proprietary trading firm is seeking a technologist with a broad range of skills to support their live environment; ensuring that systems are always ready to trade.

As a Linux Engineer / DevOps you'll minimise downtime and deploy applications quickly; improving the operational processes wherever possible - this could range from writing automation tools to deploy, monitor or analyse systems, through to taking part in core application reviews, collecting metrics or documenting support processes.

Central London based offices with a fun, informal atmosphere and free catered lunches daily.

Requirements:

*Enthusiast with a passion for technology

*Willing and able to choose the right tool for the job

*Strong knowledge of Linux and associated tools

*Ability to code in at least one OO language (Java, Python, C#, Perl, Ruby preferred)

*Good knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, Wireshark)

*Familiar with databases, able to find what you're looking for and analyse data

*Advocate of Deployment tools / Continuous Integration tools (Ansible, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Graylog, Riemann)

*Excellent communication skills, collaborative team member with great interpersonal skills
