Linux Engineer / DevOps Engineer (Automation Linux Docker Kafka microservices). Peer-to-Peer lending site that has facilitated over £1.8 billion in loans is seeking a skilled Linux DevOps Engineer with a broad range of technical knowledge.

As a DevOps Engineer you will focus on removing inefficiencies in the way the company use (or don't use) technology, automating processes wherever possible.

You'll help design and support the technical infrastructure to support company growth and be instrumental in a Greenfield project to build a real-time event driven architecture with Kafka at its core.

Requirements:

*Passionate technologist with a keen desire to automate processes

*Strong experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CoreOS), Linux containers and orchestration (must have Docker experience, Kubernetes is a nice to have)

*Good knowledge of at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, .Net or Go)

*Collaborative team member

*Desirable: knowledge of event streaming, Kafka
