Graduate / Junior Linux and SQL Developer - London - Financial services - £30-35k

One of my financial services clients who focus on providing software for the trading industry are currently looking for a Linux and SQL developer to working in their client service team. The role will be customer facing so storing communication skills are a must.

In this position, you will be required to solve complex technical issues mainly on Linux platform but there will also be a small amount of Windows involved. On the database side of things, you will be required to write finally complex SQL queries but these skills can be learnt on the job.

If you are looking for an entry level role where you can learn about the financial markets and increase your technical skills around Linux, SQL and Scripting then this in the role for you.

Requirements

* Strong technical background with Linux and Python

* Strong analytical and decision making skills

* Strong understanding of SQL and databases

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ideally have some understanding of the financial markets but this can be learnt on the job
