International Sales Manager - Smart Energy

Benelux & Western Europe

Competitive Base Salary + 30% Bonus

Our client is a hidden secret in a rapidly emerging market - a leader in the Smart Home / Energy space. They are continuing to progress with innovative ideas and are seeking to bring on board an International Sales Manager to develop the business in Europe and ramp-up momentum. This role would ideally be based in the Benelux region with regular travel to Cambridge, UK.

Requirements:

*Proven experience of B2B "solution" sales across Benelux and/or other counties in Europe.

*Fluent English and Fluent Dutch - ideally with one other European Language (French/German).

*Commercial awareness of the Smart Energy market in the Benelux region would be advantageous.

*Ability to retain strong links with the team in Cambridge and to travel fortnightly to the office in the UK.

Responsibilities:

*You will initially be focused on the Benelux market wherein you will be responsible for driving and developing new business. This will then expand to cover other areas in Europe (Germany, France, etc.)

*To form strong relationships with key organisations and senior stakeholders - building good rapport to develop further business.

*Understanding of the "solution sale" and being able to understand some technical requirements/standards with the support of the engineering team.

*To remain aligned with internal teams in Cambridge in order to help build the European business.

This is open to an experienced B2B Solution Sales Manager who is open to joining an expanding business in the Smart Energy industry! This will be a "hands on" position in which you will be responsible for developing business, initially in Benelux, but with the aim to grow across Europe. The role will suit someone who is open to a challenge in an innovative and technically advanced business!
