Are you from a structural steel or construction background with experience using Microsoft Excel in an office environment?

Do you want to be an estimator for an expanding specialist in the construction industry, where you will receive specialist training, technical development, and work on a diverse range of structural projects?

This company manufacture high quality products to specification, for a varying scope of construction projects. Over the past 40 years they have established a strong client base, and seek an ambitious estimator to join them after acquiring new projects.

In this role you will calculate projects from tender to completion, consulting engineer drawings to prepare quotations and estimating supplies and potential remodified solutions across a wide range of projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry having consulted engineer drawings with strong Microsoft Excel skills. Any experience within the structural steel industry would be advantageous.

The role:

*Consult engineer drawings to calculate and price quotations and bills of quantities.

*Understanding potential issues with projects and resolving these accordingly maintain efficient pricing strategies

*Liaise with potential and current Customers from Order Enquiry to Order Acceptance and Delivery.

The Person:

*Knowledge of consulting engineer drawings and knowledge of construction materials i.e. beams/columns etc.

*Estimating experience

*Structural steel industry experience advantageous
