Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Java J2SE Spring OOP Data Structures Algorithms). Global leading financial organisation is seeking a technologist Java Developer. Joining the Investment Management Technology division responsible for $1 trillion as they undergo a period of transformation; you will take ownership working focussing on large scale distributed systems with high performance. There are many new projects in the pipeline (e.g. replacing the entire trade order management system), you'll often be creating new systems from scratch.

As a Java Developer you'll be working with a team smart, dedicated technology enthusiasts using Agile TDD, Pair Programming and other modern development practices. Excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems.

Offices based in Central London with a professional, friendly environment and smart, casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java J2SE

*Passion for technology and engineering world class solutions

*Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms

*Experience of working on high performance, distributed systems

*Excellent communications skills

*Desirable: MongoDB, Sybase, C++
