Project Engineer - Design / NPI

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (OTE £46,800 up to £52,650) + Progression + Training + Excellent company benefits

Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Mechanical Engineer looking to step up to a senior position where you will become an expert in your field whilst working on prestigious projects?

On offer is an exciting, autonomous and hands on position where you will not only be taking the lead on Design but also project managing and prototype development making this a key position within the company as it will directly impact current and future business.

The Company itself are global and industry leaders in the railway and defence industry after forging a name for itself through developing high specification technology and solutions to cater for high profile clients within the government, industrial and public sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking to progress and take on a high profile role within a global company.

The Role:

*Lead Design development - 3D CAD system (Solidworks)

*Lead new product introduction

*Provide hands on Technical support

*Take ownership of design to production

The Person:

*Mechanical Design experience using 3D CAD system (Solidworks)

*Experience in introducing new products

*Ability to take concept through to production

*Be able to provide hands on support
