Linux Engineer / DevOps Engineer (Linux Docker AWS MongoDB Jenkins). Start-up software house born out of one of the world's most prestigious universities is seeking a technologist Linux Engineer. Their product is at the cutting edge of visual search and image recognition.

Joining a small highly talented team of software developers and data scientists as a Linux Engineer you will help design, build and maintain highly available and scalable production infrastructure in a modern AWS cloud environment. You will be influential in shaping the architecture and drive the adoption of best practice.

This Linux Engineer role presents an excellent opportunity to work with an exceptional team in a technology driven environment; you'll be encouraged to bring your own ideas and will have the freedom to experiment and innovate.

Requirements:

*Experience with open source, Linux based, DevOps environments

*Ideally you will have commercial experience of Docker as this is used heavily

*Programming / scripting experience with Java, Python or Bash

*Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

*Keen to take ownership and work in a dynamic environment with quickly changing priorities

*Likely to be degree educated (Computer Science)

As a Linux Engineer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (to £65k) plus benefits.
