A unique and exciting new opportunity to join one of the UK's most recognisable brands and play a lead role in driving the evolution of technology and company culture.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with the ability and aptitude to enable change, shape project management processes and lead a portfolio of small to medium projects.

You will be joining a newly formed team tasked with managing and supporting business change. This is an exciting role making a key contribution to the performance and efficiencies of project delivery. As such you will need to be methodical in your work with a real eye for detail and structured approach to PM. The company adopt Agile and make key contributions to the Agile community through talks, presentations and user groups.

Key responsibilities:

* Help to define and improve project management practices to achieve excellence in project delivery

* Oversee and manage the delivery and budget control of projects (£500k > £5m)

* Lead, motivate and manage a team of Project Managers

* Report accurately with a focus on risk and financial management

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted point of contact

* As well as ownership of your own projects you will mentor and guide a portfolio of projects managed by other Project Managers.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Proven experience of implementing business change, improving process, quality and project efficiency

* Proven experience of project managing a multidiscipline team in both private & public sector domains.

* Proven experience of budget management and control; £1m-£5m

* Knowledge of digital and web technology

* Experience of change within a technology driven environment

* A strong emphasis on project methodology, best practice and ideally practitioner level certified in a modern project discipline - Agile, Prince 2, PMP

* Strong management/communication skills

* Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead, nurture talent and develop the wider team

* Strong team player
