A top tier investment bank is recruiting for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to assist in the delivery of analysis and design phases for project change working closely with SMEs across other delivery functions.

Location: Poole

Rate: 400-850 a day

Duration: 6 months

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will need the following:

* Formulate technology options, evaluate alternatives and make recommendations to senior stakeholders on how to best solve the business problem. This to include the provision of high level estimates that can be used when negotiating costs vs. business benefits.

* Develop robust and innovative system designs (that include user interface, data and process design), covering a range of complex system components.

* Document requirements and functional specifications using industry standard modelling techniques and

* Represent the interest of the business through the entire project lifecycle.

* Facilitate/lead discussions with senior business stakeholders in order to assess complex business objectives.

* Work closely with a range of business and technology stakeholders to accurately identify business need, perform in-depth business analysis and elicit the detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

* Extensive business experience within a System Analysis, Design or Business Solution role.

* Strong ability in transforming business processes / requirements to functional specifications and system design specifications, along with substantial appreciation of system analysis and design techniques, tools and languages such as Use Cases, User Stories and process modeling (UML, Visio, Enterprise Architect).

* Has undertaken a leading system analysis or design related role within large scale, complex projects, working with multiple teams and customers in designing solutions in highly complex technical environments.
