£80,000 - £90,000
I am working with an amazing blockchain company based in Central London, who want to bring on an amazing DevOps Engineer to bolster their services as a result of a large influx of companies.
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the provisioning, administration, security, updating and scaling of the Linux cloud infrastructure.
You will be working with Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure platforms alongside a mixture of OpenSource tools in this DevOps position.
Tech stack used in this role - Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Azure cloud, Terraform, JVM, Ansible, TeamCity, DataDog, Jira+Confluence, Shell and Python scripting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Ensure that systems and tools remain secure and update
* Creating and manage infrastructure code to deploy new products using Terraform and Ansible
* Assisting the Development team on day to day issues
* Using new tools to improve CI/CD integration, monitoring, log management and similar environments
* Assisting in testing various, mainly cloud based technologies
Required Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in IT roles
* Linux Administration ideally with Ubuntu
* Cloud Platforms administration (Azure ideally but AWS or similar would be acceptable)
* Monitoring platforms using ELK stack
* Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containerisation
