SCCM Engineer (EUC)
This is a new SCCM Engineer / Administrator role working for a very well-established, high-profile publishing organisation in Oxford. My client is running a major Networking and End User Computing (EUC) transformation programme and shifting from on-premise infrastructure to commodity cloud based services. This Engineering role requires an individual with a background in engineering and good experience of End User Computing (EUC) technology.
As the EUC Engineer you will need excellent experience of using SCCM to deploy EUC (End User Computing) desktop tools, with some design and build experience. The successful EUC Engineer will also need to have completed an Office 365 global rollout in their experience.
Technical Skills for the SCCM Engineer (EUC)
* Experience of creating and maintaining a global desktop build using MDT.
* You must be capable of deploying desktop OS builds (Windows 10) through SCCM task sequences.
* In depth knowledge of OS patching best practices.
* Expert knowledge of delivering applications using various deployment methods, including SCCM and virtualisation tools such as App-v.
* This includes application lifecycle management from initial assessment through to retirement.
* Good knowledge of tracking assets using SCCM.
* Strong skills in Windows network protocols including DNS, DHCP, WINS, LDAP and Kerberos, (SCOM)
* Advanced knowledge of PowerShell to automate complex and repetitive operations.
* Good knowledge of Office 365 and collaboration tools in a global organisation.
